There are many ways to explore the Mekong Delta, yet the Bassac are certainly the most stylish and the most authentic. These charming wooden cruisers explore the greener parts of the delta in comfort, with en-route stops to visit villages and stroll rice fields, sample fruit or just relax in the shade. Back on board after a short ride on a longboat, an unforgettable moment is watching the sunset from the upper deck while sailing through smaller waterways.   Built according to the tradition of the Mekong rice barges - the first Bassac used to be a rice lighter - the Bassac offer comfortably appointed cabins with air-con and en-suite bathroom, large resting areas and a delicious fresh cuisine at every meal, from bread and pastry at breakfast to classic cuisine for lunch and Mekong specialties for dinner.
