Western saloon with a lively atmosphere and nightly elevator-style live music including jazz, Latin, country, Spanish and rock and roll, performed by a slick Filipino band. At over VND50,000 a beer, the Ton Duc Thang venue is not a place to go with a major thirst. The second venue in the backpackers’ area, though, has a Vietnamese band and cheap beer.
